Our Beliefs, Mission and Purpose

People can recognize the way Christians love others.  It's different than what is experienced in the world.  As a church, we are continuously striving for relationships that build a strong community and help us grow in our love for Jesus.

Our Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally inspired; and is divinely authoritative for every age and life.

We believe that God exists eternally in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that these three are one God.

We believe that God, by His Sovereign choice and out of love for all, sent Christ into the world to save sinful humankind.

We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and Man; that He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life; that He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins, and was raised from the dead on the third day. He is the head of the Church which is His body continuing his work and mission in the world today. He intercedes for believers and is coming again in the full glory of His Kingdom to judge the world, fulfill his purposes and to reign forever.

We believe that it is the goal of every Christian to become a fully devoted disciple of Jesus Christ and that through the indwelling ministry of God the Holy Spirit… disciples of Christ are enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, with eternal rewards for believers and eternal punishment for the unsaved.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.  “In essentials unity, In distinctives liberty, In all things Love.”

Our Mission

Our mission is to share the hope of Jesus Christ.

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”   John 3:17

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to …  Love and Worship God, Love and Care for One Another, Reach our World for Christ
